Bianca, embarked on her community service journey in 2013 after earning a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Literature and Education from the University of Arizona. Her initial six-year commitment within the public school system showcased her passion for community engagement, education, and social justice, as she advocated for underserved students and families through intensive case management and mentorship initiatives. Transitioning to higher education in 2020, she has played a pivotal role in managing research grants within the social sciences, bridging research and practice to advance inclusivity efforts for underserved populations.
Currently serving as a Program Coordinator at the Frances McClelland Institute (FMI) for Children, Youth, and Families, Bianca coordinates various programs and events within the FMI community. Additionally, she contributes to the Science of Kindness in Community Collective alongside Dr. Maré, a cross-campus research partnership that collaborates with local organizations to implement evidence-based practices, fostering kindness, connection, and learning within the community.
