Alvin Nguyen

Alvin Nguyen

Program Coordinator, Frances McClelland Institute for Children, Youth, and Families

Alvin Nguyen is a Vietnamese American graduate student pursuing a Master of Science degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with an emphasis on Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Arizona. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies and previously worked in the early childhood education field providing services to families and children. As a part-time Program Coordinator of the Frances McClelland Institute for Children, Youth, and Families, Alvin provides programmatic coordination for the Frances McClelland Institute’s Vision Award Ceremony, Pamela Turbeville Speaker Series, Community Conversations. He also assists in the coordination of meetings of The FMI Family Advisory Council, workshops, and conferences; oversight of the daily operations and activities of FMI and projects; and collaborations with the surrounding Tucson community programs and organizations.
